Quaka operates a fitness marketplace and coaching platform from Egypt. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@quaka.co. For general support, email support@quaka.co.
Depending on how you use Quaka, we collect:
The iPhone app does not request GPS location and the Android app does not use Health Connect. If you opt in on Apple Watch, Quaka reads heart rate and active energy during an active workout and writes the completed workout to Apple Health.
We use data to create and secure accounts; provide coaching, messaging, community, workouts, nutrition, events, and subscriptions; personalize the service; process and reconcile transactions; send requested notifications; prevent abuse and fraud; moderate content; respond to support; diagnose reliability problems; comply with law; and improve Quaka. Health and fitness data is used only to provide user-requested fitness and coaching functions, maintain safety, and meet legal obligations—not for advertising.
We process ordinary account and service data as needed to perform our agreement, pursue legitimate security and service interests, comply with law, or with consent where required. Before a user supplies health or fitness information, Quaka asks for explicit consent. Consent can be withdrawn by stopping entry of that data and requesting deletion; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing and may limit coaching features that depend on the information.
Profile and community content is shared according to the feature and audience you select. Athletes’ relevant fitness information may be shared with coaches they choose to work with. We also use service providers for hosting, authentication, notifications, diagnostics, analytics, media storage, and payments. These providers may process data only to deliver their services to Quaka.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate protections. We do not sell personal data and do not use personal data for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.
Account, profile, user content, and health/fitness records are kept while the account is active and removed or de-identified following a valid deletion request, ordinarily within 30 days. Encrypted backups may retain residual copies for up to 90 additional days. Closed safety reports and support records may be retained for up to 2 years. Transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal records may be retained for up to 7 years or longer if law requires.
Content shared with others may remain in their messages or lawful records. We may retain limited information where necessary for security, disputes, legal obligations, or enforcing bans.
You can review and update profile information in the app, control device permissions in system settings, mute notifications, block users, and delete your account in app settings. You may also use the web deletion request page. Depending on your law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection by emailing privacy@quaka.co. We may verify identity before fulfilling a request.
We use access controls, encrypted transport, protected credentials, monitoring, and other organizational and technical safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process data outside your country; where required, Quaka uses lawful transfer protections.
Quaka is not directed to children and must not be used below the minimum age permitted for an online fitness service in the user’s country without legally valid parent or guardian involvement. Contact us if you believe a child supplied data unlawfully. We may update this policy and will post the revised date and provide additional notice when a change is material.
